Achievements

You can earn achievements this year for academics, being a super reader, exemplary behavior and leadership! Your achievements will be given in the form of Experience Points (XP) that you can use to redeem prizes.

Guidelines:

1. Achievements will be redeemed through this Google Form. It is YOUR responsibility to redeem XP for achievements. If you do not fill out the Google Form correctly, I will not award your XP.
2. Each achievement has a set value and XP can be redeemed in the Item Shop.  
3. There are many achievements and only one of me. If I forget to award you an achievement or there is a discrepancy in XP, come see me and/or kindly remind me.  Being rude and/or demanding will result in a loss of that XP.
4. Secret achievements remain hidden until someone unlocks them. After someone unlocks them, they will be displayed for all to see.
5. I reserve the right to add, remove, or change achievements or XP at any time as I see fit.
6. Check your points on the Leader Board to see where you stand. Points will be updated each Monday for the new week.

Academic Achievements

1. Bringing a book. You will get paid for bringing a book to class every day for three days straight with no interruption. 3 days straight earns you 25XP, 4 days straight earns you 50XP, 5 days straight earns you 75XP.
2. Earning a 3 on an assessment = 100XP
3. Earning a 4 on an assessment = 200XP

Reading Achievements

You must have all "Reading Achievement" forms completed in Google Classroom before redeeming XP. (Example: to achieve the "Read 5 books" XP, you must have completed 5 "Reading Achievement" forms -- one for each book.)

1. Read 5 books = 25XP
2. Read 10 books = 25XP
3. Read 15 books = 25XP
4. Read 20 books = 25XP
5. Complete a Book Review = 75XP
6. Join Battle of the Books = 200XP

Behavior Achievements

1. Getting caught showing character when you think no one's looking = 100XP
2. Super behavior for a guest teacher = 250XP
3. Receiving a positive office referral from any teacher = 200XP

Other Achievements

1. Create a username for the Leader Board = 10XP
2. Turn in Box Tops to Ms. Rider = varied XP (Ms. Rider must confirm)
3. Doing something to help Mrs. Peoples without her asking (example, straightening the pedal bikes, picking up trash, straightening the library) = 50XP
