Analysis

The single most important skill your child can have in order to succeed in Language Arts is the skill of analysis.

Critical analysis is at the core of all Language Arts standards. Language Arts students are expected to be able to read a piece of text, analyze it in which they carefully and critically formulate ideas about the text based on what it says directly and what they’ve inferred, point to multiple pieces of evidence to support their theories, and most importantly, explain the process of their analysis.
