Making connections to our characters/events in the text and tracking our thinking in our journal, will help tie everything back to our concept of perception. I am so proud of the hard work and deep thinking I have already begun to see. Students are REALLY excited about our concept, our read aloud
Wonder and their own mentor text.
I encourage students to bring in any ideas, texts, articles or other examples of the idea of perception, misconception, unfair judgement or being misunderstood.
